Mylles quickly set out his academic flair in the first full day when he achieved 100% on the Maths test. 
He also showed his deceitful side when he was in trouble for stashing several bars of chocolate in his drawer. Before this incident, it appeared as though he was a front runner for head- boy - an accolade which eventually went to dorm-mate Andrew Stratton.
He was regularly in trouble with Matron for not having his hair in regulation fashion and his cap was ridiculously small which didn't help things. Matron called in the barber and he was eventually forced to have his hair cut short .
Through winning the cross-country and other sporting achievements, he was awarded the boy's cup for sporting achievement.
