Kathryn
McGeough
Devon girl Kathryn McGeough
came from an all-girls' grammar school. Since her mam went to a boarding school,
Kathryn too from an early age had wanted to follow in her footsteps and so this
was her opportunity.
Possibly
the most diverse of the pupils, Kathryn felt that each school subject was as
enjoyable as the next and her range of favourite sports was enormous: skiing,
snowboarding, swimming, kayaking, karate, sailing, rugby and rounders to name a
few. Add to this her lifesaving certificate, Sea Scouts background, clarinet
playing, and singing, the latter of which Kathryn wants to pursue as a
professional career one day.
She said she was intelligent,
organised, hard-working and efficient, which resulted in her being elected Head
Girl during her time at Kings. She wants to go to Cambridge University to make
her parents proud. She absolutely loved her time at Kings and claimed that it
was one of the most rewarding learning experiences she had ever had.
